Directions from Hillside, IL

We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Chicago and 15 minutes from Hillside, IL.

When coming from Hillside, take Butterfield Road northeast for about a mile until you reach Washington Blvd.
Make a right turn on Washington Blvd. and continue east on Washington Blvd. for about 4 miles. Washington Blvd. will change its name to Randolph St.
Turn left on Harlem Ave..
Make a right turn on Lake Street.
You will see the Shaker Building on your left-hand side. It is a large building with green awnings, located on Marion and Lake Street.


For Parking
Continue down Lake Street until you see the first traffic light, which is Marion Ave.
Make a left turn on Marion Ave. so that you are going north on Marion, (between Barbara's Bookstore and Chase Bank), and make a left turn into the Holly Court parking lot immediately behind the building.
Go past the open parking lot and into the parking structure.
Parking is free for the first hour in this parking structure. Parking is only $1 for the hour after that.
You can then enter the building via the back entrance.

Hi, I live in Hillside, IL, and I would like my city to be featured of the week. I think you should choose Hillside because it is a wonderful place to live. It is peaceful and there isn't much crime if any. Everyone in the community is friendly and neighborly. The village offers elderly people the option of having calls to their home to check on them to make sure they are ok. Hillside is a loving town that offers residents many opportunities throughout the community. Each month the village offers events for the community, such as Ice Cream Day, Christmas Walk, Breakfast with Santa, Farmer's Markets, Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Camp, Bowling, Movie Day, haunted houses, and other various activities. We also have a water park so that families from anywhere across the world can enjoy. We have several shopping centers and restaraunts and we're still expanding. We have our own baseball and softball team and several parks for children to play. Therefore, I think you should choose Hillside as one of your featured cities, and you will not be disappointed!

One notable landmark in Hillside is the Mount Carmel Cemetery. On the grounds of the cemetery are the graves of a number of organized crime figures, such as Al Capone and Dion O'Bannion. A number of Bishops and Archbishops of the Archdiocese of Chicago are buried in the Bishop's Mausoleum at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Hillside is also the home and birth place of the famous rap group Do or Die.
