Directions from Naperville, IL

We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Chicago and around 30 minutes from Naperville, IL (40 minutes with traffic).

When coming from Naperville, just take I-88 east for approximately 13 miles until you get to I-290 E.
Continue east on 290 for another 5 miles. (Careful! Traffic stops suddenly during this portion of the highway!)
Take the Harlem exit, exit number 21B. This exit will be on the left hand side of the highway.
Turn left on Harlem, going north, for 1 mile, until you reach Lake Street.
Make a right turn on Lake Street.
You will see the Shaker Building on your left-hand side. It is a large building with green awnings, located on Marion and Lake Street.


For Parking
Continue down Lake Street until you see the first traffic light, which is Marion Ave.
Make a left turn on Marion Ave. so that you are going north on Marion, (between Barbara's Bookstore and Chase Bank), and make a left turn into the Holly Court parking lot immediately behind the building.
Go past the open parking lot and into the parking structure.
Parking is free for the first hour in this parking structure. Parking is only $1 for the hour after that.
You can then enter the building via the back entrance.

Naperville, IL is a city in DuPage and Will Counties within the Chicago metropolitan area, located about 45 minutes from downtown Chicago (1 hour with traffic), and about half an hour from First Peek Ultrasound (40 minutes with traffic). As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 128,358, and a special census taken in 2008 showed the population to be 144,560. Naperville is the fifth largest city in Illinois, behind Chicago, IL, Aurora, IL, Rockford, IL, and Joliet, IL. Naperville covers a total of 35.5 square miles.

In July 1831, Joseph Naper arrived at the banks of the DuPage River with his family and friends and settled what would be known as Naper's Settlement. The settlement became a stagecoach stop on the road from Chicago to Galena, and then became the DuPage County seat. Since 1990, the city has nearly quadrupled in size as Chicago metropolitan area's urban sprawl brought corporations, jobs, and wealth to the area

A number of major businesses are located in Naperville, including OfficeMax, the American branch of BP, and the Nicor gas company. Kraft Foods, the largest food company in the United States (which now also owns Cadbury Chocolate), is a major employer in Naperville, although its national headquarters are located in Northfield, IL.
