Directions from Orland Hills, IL
We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Chicago and around 40 minutes from Orland Hills, IL.

When coming from Orland Hills, go north on La Grange Road for about 10 miles until you reach Archer Rd..
Take the exit onto Archer Rd (which will be going northeast) and travel along Archer Rd. for 4 miles.
At the end of the road, make a right turn on Archer Ave.
Make a left turn on Harlem Ave., which will be the first traffic light.
Continue north on Harlem Ave. for about 6 1/2 miles. You will pass I-55, Cermak Rd., Roosevelt Rd., and I-290. After 1 mile past I-290, you will see Lake Street.
Make a right turn on Lake Street.
You will see the Shaker Building on your left-hand side. It is a large building with green awnings, located on Marion and Lake Street.


For Parking
Continue down Lake Street until you see the first traffic light, which is Marion Ave.
Make a left turn on Marion Ave so that you are going north on Marion, (between Barbara's Bookstore and Chase Bank), and make a left turn into the Holly Court parking lot immediately behind the building.
Go past the metered parking spaces in the parking lot and enter the parking structure.
Parking is free for the first hour in this parking structure. Parking is only $1 for the hour after that.
You can then enter the building via the back entrance.

The village incorporated as the Village of Westhaven in 1961, and in 1971, the Wittich Memorial Church started construction on the subdivision called Christian Hills. In 1986, the name was changed to Orland Hills in order to associate itself with the Orland Township. Orland Hills is part of the Orland Township along with Orland Park and a small part of Tinley Park. Several areas of Orland Hills have still been preserved as wetlands and even a small lake. Out of the 1.1 square miles that makes up Orland Hills, 0.9% of Orland Hills is water.
