My ultrasound technician told me the gender, but now my ob/gyn told me it's a different gender
If the ultrasound technician at
First Peek Ultrasound told you the gender of your baby,
and then your ob/gyn at a follow-up visit told you a different gender, then you may return to First Peek Ultrasound
to confirm your gender and get a
free Premium 3D ultrasound session for your inconvenience.
At
First Peek Ultrasound, we use the same system and techniques of checking your baby's gender, using 2D ultrasound,
that are used at your ob/gyn's office. As with all other techniques of determining the gender of your baby,
no system is 100% accurate, including the gender checks at
First Peek Ultrasound.
Ultrasounds are more accurate in determining gender after 20 weeks than before,
so if you received a gender check with us before 20 weeks and then received a gender check at your ob/gyn visit at
your 20-week ultrasound visit, then it is safe to trust your 20-week ultrasound, simply because the
baby is larger and easier to visualize at 20 weeks.
Although at
First Peek Ultrasound, we inform all our customers that our ultrasound sessions are not 100% accurate and
we can not guarantee the accuracy of our gender checks, we do understand that receiving the wrong gender can hurt your plans
and can be disappointing in many ways. So to make up for any inconvenience you may have, after re-confirming your gender,
we will refund the money you paid for the gender check and also offer you a
free Premium Package ultrasound session
during your pregnancy.
We strive to make sure that the memory of your ultrasound sessions at
First Peek Ultrasound is a positive one
so that you will tell all your pregnant friends and family members to share the same experience that you had with
First Peek Ultrasound, in Oak Park, IL.

In the spirit of transparency in the accuracy of our gender checks, we plan on publicly displaying our gender check accuracy here and
on our gender check package page. We hope that other 3D ultrasound facilities across the United States follow our example.
