Image quality is good, but it is poor when printing out on other items, such as newspapers, t-shirts, or picture frames
If the image quality of your ultrasound pictures are good but they are poor when the images are printed out on large paper or special media, such as
newspapers, brochures, iron-ons for T-shirts, or large picture frames, this is due to the fact that
all images are stored in JPEG format, so as to ensure the most compatibility and usability and to ensure ease of emailing and accessing the images.
If you require higher-resolution images of your ultrasound sessions, we can save the images in a higher-resolution format, such as TIFF or BMP format,
which works better when enlarging these images or printing them out in larger formats or on special media.
Simply call or email us regarding this issue and we can send you a new CD with higher resolution images of your ultrasound session. We charge a
nominal amount of
$15 for this service.
