Directions
We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Chicago. When coming from downtown Chicago, just take 290W to the Harlem exit, make a right turn on Harlem (so that you're going north on Harlem). Make a right turn on Lake Street. You will see the Shaker Building on your left-hand side. It is a large building with green awnings, located on Marion and Lake Street.

When coming from the far west, such as the far west suburbs of Chicago, including Naperville, Downers Grove, Barrington, Bolingbrook, Oak Brook, Lombard, or Villa Park, or when coming from the northwest, such as the northwest suburbs of Chicago, including Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Wheaton, Buffalo Grove, Glendale Heights, or Glen Ellyn, take 88E to 290E, or 294S to 290E. Take 290E until you reach the Harlem exit. Make a left turn on Harlem (so that you are going North on Harlem). Make a right turn on Lake Street. You will see the Shaker Building on your left-hand side. It is a large building with green awnings, located on Marion and Lake Street.

If you are coming from the north, such as the northern suburbs of Chicago, from Evanston, North Chicago, the Great Lakes Naval Base, or from nearby cities in Wisconsin, such as Kenosha, Wisconsin, take 94S and then take 290W. Take the Harlem exit and make a right turn on Harlem (so that you're going north on Harlem). Make a right turn on Lake Street. You will see the Shaker Building on your left-hand side. It is a large building with green awnings, located on Marion and Lake Street.

If you are coming from Indiana, such as from Gary, IN, or Hammond, IN, or Valparaiso, IN, or even from Indianapolis, IN, follow directions to get to Chicago, take 90W or 94W until the highway merges to 90/94W, then exit onto 290W. Take 290W to the Harlem exit, make a right turn on Harlem (so that you're going north on Harlem). Make a right turn on Lake Street. You will see the Shaker Building on your left-hand side. It is a large building with green awnings, located on Marion and Lake Street.


For Parking
Continue down Lake Street until you see the first traffic light, which is Marion Ave. Make a left turn on Marion Ave (between Barbara's Bookstore and Chase Bank) and make a left turn into the Holly Court parking lot immediately behind the building. Go past the metered parking spaces in the parking lot and enter the parking structure. Parking is free for the first hour in this parking structure. Parking is only $1 for the hour after that (a welcome relief to those of us used to parking in downtown Chicago). You can enter the building from the back entrance.

First Peek Ultrasound is located in the near west suburbs of Chicago, and so we are very convenient to the city of Oak Park, Melrose Park, Forest Park, River Forest, Maywood, Berwyn, Elmwood Park, and Franklin Park, as well as the west side of Chicago and Humboldt Park. We are also located close to the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. Because we are located just a few blocks from a major highway, our location is convenient to anyone coming from anywhere in the Chicagoland area.

Going to the Brookfield Zoo? We are located just 5 miles away (less than 15 minutes by car) from the Brookfield Zoo. If you are pregnant and have other children, you can have a fun-filled day for everyone. Just stop by First Peek Ultrasound to get a 3D ultrasound, where we have a play area and fun things to do with the kids, then go to the Brookfield Zoo after that. We usually have appointments available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings. Warning: You will want to show your 3D ultrasound pictures to strangers in the zoo passing by.

Don't have a car? You can reach us easily by train, both the Metra (Harlem exit) and the Green Line (Lake St./Oak Park exit) stops just one city block from our location.
