I had an ultrasound there in 2009. It was a great, comfy environment, and we found out we were having a boy (-: I was, however, only 16 weeks, and we found out later, around 23 weeks, that our boy was actually a girl. I was so overjoyed! We weren't upset at all... we knew being only 16 weeks that there was a small chance that it could be wrong... and we love our little girl so much! I would definitely come back for the next pregnancy, I'll just wait a little longer (-:

Went in for gender check when I was 15 weeks. The whole expereince was AMAZING!... nice, comfortable room, friendly staff and we found out we're having a girl. Got confirmation at 20 weeks from my ultrasound at the hospital that it is a girl. Will definitely be going back in the next couple weeks at about 30 weeks.

I recently went to First Peek for a 3D Ultrasound and a gender check. It was an amazing experience, the staff was very nice, and the rooms were very welcoming. The tech told us right away what we were having at 17 weeks, 3 days... turns out our hunch it was a girl was right. Daddy was so excited he started dancing in the room! My first 3D ultrasound and it was amazing! Everyone was very friendly. My baby was in a weird position at first where you couldn't see much detail in her face, but the ultrasound tech gave her some time to wake up and had me lay on my right side. It worked and we got a lot of great pictures. I got to see my baby rub her eyes, smile, move her mouth. I read some reviews where the tech was too rough? I didn't experience this, she wasn't pressing too hard and even said "let me know if i'm pressing down too hard for you". We got the first peek package which was perfect for me because I got a CD of all the images (66 of them) and a few print outs. It was definitely a bonding experience between my baby and I, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I've been nothing but smiles for days because of it!

I just had my very first session today! IT WAS UNFORGETTABLE! Agnes was awesome! The staff are super friendly. I felt so comfortable, the rooms are big, and the bed is super comfy, big plasmas so the whole family can see... soft classical music... My boyfriend and I went in for the complete package this morning. The first time we went in our little one had his arm in his face, so they gave me juice and candy and had me walk around the building. Even after that and several different positions, he wasn't moving that arm. They actually asked me to come back later and try again! I was thrilled! We came back later and he was STILL in the same position. We tried to walk around a little more. Finally, the 4th time we went in the room we got to see his adorable face. They took some amazing pictures! The experience, although stressful the first few times, was so worth it. The environment was very soothing also with the music, dim lights, comfy bed and couch for relatives. The techs did everything they could to help us get the best pictures of our little boy. 10 stars!!!

It was actually phenomenal! I absolutely loved it! I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my pics to be printed and I told my husband that I wished we came here for our other child's 3D ultrasound. We had an awesome experience here getting our 4D ultrasound. I managed to get an appointment for the very next day, thanks to their good website/easy-to-use booking system. A great deal, too--got the $69 twenty-minute First Peek package, and asked for the bonus DVD (a yelp offer, which I'm sure will not be available forever). Our tech was Christine--she was super nice, very kind, tried very hard to make sure everything went well and that we were happy with the images, etc. It's located in a nice building that is super easy to access, parking was exactly as they described on website--just a perfect, low-stress appointment. I was 26 weeks along and it was very reassuring to see the baby, hear the heartbeat, and have a beautiful souvenir to show for my relatives and friends. I recommend this to anyone who is pregnant--it's incredible!

The website was extremely informative and made it so easy to make an appointment. There's parking right near the building and fairly easy to find. The office was nice and clean... smelled great :) The staff was very friendly and polite!! I love the rooms they do the ultrasounds in... big flat screens for you to see the ultrasound on... nice comfy leather couches for your loved ones to sit on... HUGE comfortable bed to lay down on while you see your baby. I got a bit of a false alarm and was told it was a girl... that changed after she checked again because my baby was hiding his thing and then was told i was in fact having a boy. I am glad she was thorough though and went back and checked a second time to make certain what the gender was... I couldn't of had a nicer tech. She felt horrible that she told me it was a girl at first, but these things happens with babies and all that moving around in there so I understood and didn't feel it was anything beyond her control. My baby was on his side so I didn't get the greatest 3D pic of his face, BUT I did go in there for a gender check so I wasn't going to be picky about it. I was more happy to see the ultrasound and my child. I was extremely happy with their service and would recommend anyone to go to see your child's first movements!

I have been to First Peek Ultrasound 3 times already. I don’t know what I would have done without them. I guess my story begins with an HMO plan and the things they were unwilling to do. When I first discovered I was pregnant it was through a urine test. I went in to the doctor who confirmed it with a urine test. This was not enough. I wanted an ultrasound or even a blood test, but nobody was willing to listen or care. At 6 weeks, I was able to confirm my pregnancy with the pregnancy verification visit at First Peek. I was so thrilled to be able to see a heartbeat. I asked my doctor when I could have an ultrasound, they said at 20 weeks. That is ridiculous. I just needed to see my baby every so often. The doctors (or HMO) couldn’t care less, according to them I wasn’t high risk, so I had no need for an ultrasound. How about my peace of mind? Anyway, I decided to visit First Peek again at ten weeks for a heartbeat check and at 15 weeks for a gender check. It feels so great to see and listen and to your baby. I have been able seen my baby 3 times, before my first scheduled medical ultrasound… Thank You First Peek. I love your easy scheduling, your courteous and professional staff, your comfortable ultrasound room, and of course the warm jelly you use for the ultrasound (instead of the cold one). Mostly I love your affordable prices and the peace of mind you provide.

My doctor did not think that an ultrasound was necessary. They confirmed my pregnancy with a urine sample and told me this was enough. They drew blood, but I had to wait for them to come back. I was not experiencing any symptoms so I was really scared. I thought that it being the 6th week, I should feel something (my first pregnancy). I really wanted an utrasound. It was not for a medical analysis, all I wanted to know was that something was there. That is when I heard about First Peek.  I was able to schedule an ultrasound right away, the same day. I went in and the staff was courteous and professional. Within 25 minutes of coming in, I was not only able to see something; I actually got to hear the heartbeat. I cannot describe how much better I felt afterward. Sure maybe according to the doctors this is not medically necessary, but from a mental standpoint, this agency provides a great service. It made me feel "pregnant" something that the doctor failed to do. It's totally worth it!

Hi, my name is Angie, and I went there at 16 wks for early gender determination. I believe the date was 9/27/10. Anyway the baby kept her legs crossed almost the whole time, but moved them for a couple of quick peeks at which the tech was able to tell us she was only pretty sure it was a girl, but then that she thought for sure a girl. We just had our 20 wk u/s which confirmed that we are indeed having a baby girl. I just wanted to let you know that we really appreciated the extra time that the tech spent with us trying to get a good enough view to be sure. The visit way exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this to other impatient mommy-to-bes!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our 3D ultrasound. Samera took the time to make sure we saw everything we wanted during our visit and spent a good deal of time with us. It was a much better experience than our medical ultrasound. I assumed since we were just doing the gender check that we would be rushed through but that was not the case at all. I have recommended First Peek to my other friends that are expecting. We were also impressed by the flat screen TV on the wall that projected the shots for us to see. This has been a very difficult time for me and when they 1st told me I could have up to 10 people in room with me I was relieved because I needed the support. The waiting area was clean and the recep friendly but the ultrasound tech blew me away. She was exceptional. She went out of her way to make sure everyone got pics of me on the bed and replayed the heartbeat for a late comer as well as the gender. We were not rushed at all. The price was well worth it and I had to buy the bear with the heartbeat after not because they pressured me but because this was an amazing experience and I wanted every treasure to remember it by. I was comfortable and pleased and would recommend them to everyone I know.

I loved my pictures and i came in for the gender check package at 16 w & 3 d, was told it was a boy, and when i went to to the doctor for my 20 week ultrasound, i also was told it was a boy! Don't bother looking for another 3D ultrasound provider. First Peek prices are the best there is. Staff is very courteous. I have had several ultrasounds, but I really wanted a 3D one, which my doctor doesn't do. I saw this ad pop up on Facebook & I was skeptical at first. But I decided to call & give it a shot. I am soo glad that I did!! I am 31 weeks along & the ultrasound tech got the most precious images of my baby. The ultrasound pictures were so clear!! I also got a 15 min DVD for $15!! I was able to show my whole family & my friends how my baby looks & moves.. Soooo worth it!! The staff is extra friendly & the facility was gorgeous!! i had my first ultrasound at 20 weeks with a referral from a nurse midwife although a joy very to the point, which does not allow for that ohhhh ahhhh time. we were given pictures and it was great...i lost the pics a few days later. i was devastated. i will never have those pics again. i ran across an ad for First Peek and I could of cried. I get to see my baby again???!!! I rushed and made an appointment, and was able to get the first available for the next day! The studio and the staff were great. The ultrasound tech did not rush, she was very sweet and just as enthuisiastic as we were. The price for the experience could of floored me. It was incredibly cheap...they have really good deals and packages.

This was the best ultrasound experience I've ever had!!!! We were unable to determine the sex of our baby at our regular doctor's visit so we came here the same day and found out. I wish they had this when I had my first daughter... It was a wonderful experience. very friendly and warm. The room in which the Ultrasound took place was comfy and clean, definitely not a doctor's office feeling. I love the fact that there were two flat screen monitors that were placed at the foot of the bed and to the side and large enough to see the baby, and best of all you get to take the experience home in digital copies. I definitely recommend anyone having a baby to have these images taken. They are a treasure to keep.

If you knew me, you wouldn't say I am a very emotional person.   I especially don't cry in public.   But when I saw my baby in 3D ultrasound, I couldn't hold back the tears.   I didn't realize how much I loved my little guy already until I saw his little fingers, toes, and face on the screen.   This was the most amazing experience of my pregnancy so far!

In addition to being able to see my baby, I think this experience was soo amazing for me because of the staff at First Peek Ultrasound.  They are great!   I felt like an honored guest from the moment I walked in.   I could tell that they really wanted me to have a good experience and they went above and beyond to make sure that happened.   My husband walked out of there with great big smiles on our faces :)

My experience was great. I had to come back for a second visit due to my baby not cooperating. The staff was extremely patient with trying to get good images of my son. I have already recommended First Peek to a relative of mine that is expecting early next year. Scheduling was a breeze. I was so anxious to see my son's face, I got my first appointment for the following morning of my call, and my second visit was scheduled for just 3 days later. They were prompt in taking me back for the ultrasound, and spent more then the 30 minute period trying to get pictures of my son. I couldn't ask for better service.

This is my fourth pregnancy and by far the best ultrasound experience I have had to date.   The ultrasound technician was a pro and we were able to get some AMAZING pictures of my baby.   She really took care in getting the best pictures and making me as comfortable as possible.   I wish I had known about this place for my other pregnancy's.   What really surprised me about First Peek Ultrasound was how trendy and sleek the ultrasound room was; as well as clean.   It was very accommodating for my children who were able to experience this beautiful moment with me.   They have a wonderful area for children, and any other guest you would like to bring.   I highly recommend First peek Ultrasound.

I went to a different ultrasound clinic for my first pregnancy.   For this one, I went to this new place - First Peek Ultrasound.   It's in downtown Oak Park, which is a really nice neighborhood.   The building and the ultrasound clinic are really beautiful and clean. The techs at this place were also great.  They really went out of their way to take care of me.   The position of my baby was really off so they let me come back a couple of times until I got a good face shot.   The pictures they printed out for me are really nice as well.   They really seemed to care about me and about making sure that I was completely satisfied with my experience.   I would recommend this place to everyone!  Their webpage address is www.oakparkultrasound.com.

After getting my ultrasound I went out to lunch and did some shopping.   There are tons of great restaurants and places to go shopping in this neighborhood.   I'm thinking about going back to get another ultrasound in about a month.  I really loved the whole experience!
